About Our Founder
Viviana Addo
Viviana Addo is an international real estate investment executive, strategist, and educator whose work spans global markets and multiple sectors of the built environment. Born in Cologne and raised in Cali, she draws on a multicultural upbringing and career across the United States, Latin America, and Europe to bring a uniquely global perspective to real estate strategy, innovation, and portfolio growth.
For more than a decade, Viviana has advised and managed diverse real estate assets, including multifamily, mixed-use, retail, and redevelopment projects. Her experience ranges from guiding complex development transitions to supporting investment decisions, risk analysis, ESG strategy, and long-term portfolio planning. She has worked within institutional and private real estate organizations, contributing to major projects across New York, New Jersey, Georgia, Colombia, France, and the UAE.
Viviana’s approach blends analytical rigor with cultural and economic insight. She is known for her ability to bring structure to complexity, integrate global market intelligence into investment decisions, and identify opportunities shaped by demographic, technological, and sustainability trends. Her work often sits at the intersection of real estate, innovation, and community impact.
In addition to leading VMCASA, Viviana serves as a professor of international real estate and development, sharing her global perspective with emerging industry leaders. She is also the creator and executive producer of the Growing Cities Podcast, where she brings together thought leaders from around the world to discuss urban development, investment, ESG innovation, and the future of global cities.
Viviana holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investment and a Bachelor’s in International Business. She is committed to advancing diversity, sustainability, and thoughtful urban growth through both her advisory work and her public-facing platforms.
